That is a really cool game! I think you should continue developing this
Thank you! I actually continue developing, hope to publish new version in 2-3 weeks
Great Game!! The mechanic is really unique and fun!!
Really great game! You guys were in my latest video!
Great fun! I love the look, and the feel of the controls is just right. The key concepts are introduced at just the right pace. The snarky comments when you die are good fun, too. If I have any suggestion to make, it's only to please, punctuate 'it's' properly. :)
> The time for coming up with an idea, making a design doc, compiling the game and publishing it etc. does not count in the 3 hours you have
I think 3 hours is short enough for making a game without having to worry about making the page too!

Great job with this - I believed 'one more level' each time I saw it and kept being surprised by how much content you managed to make. The music, art and gameplay all worked together nicely too.
Topdownshooter(wip) mac os. Santa is mad at his elves who went rogue.. Help him kicking their ass planting Christmas trees and firing them as missiles.
Left - Right : move Santa
Down: plant a tree (max 5 at the same time on screen)
Space: fire the tree right in front of Santa
Brotherly participation to Trijam 83
This is our first participation to a jam of any kind. I must say that the 3 hours limit is quite challenging. We started with what we thought was a very narrow, limited scope and yet only delivered half of it. We wanted to implement on top of this:

Brotherly participation to Trijam 83
This is our first participation to a jam of any kind. I must say that the 3 hours limit is quite challenging. We started with what we thought was a very narrow, limited scope and yet only delivered half of it. We wanted to implement on top of this:
Trijam #61 - Negative Space Mac Os X
- A pile of gifts that would be targeted by the elves throwing bombs at them
- The elves were to come in group, wave after wave
- The waves were meant to be more and more difficult (more elves, more bombs and faster speed)
- Some basic menuing, including a pause menu and an end screen with final score when all gifts were eventually destroyed
- Christmas trees had normally to grow before being available for firing
- Regarding the assets, we lost quite some time trying to find something we could use and ended up quickly sketching in google drawing
- We also wanted to include some background music and sound effects
When I see what we eventually delivered we really only delivered the main mechanic:
- Enemies in the sky to be targeted from the ground (inspired by the classical space invader in terms of gameplay)
- The ammunition is not immediately available and must be planted first
Theme: 'trees'
